You are entitled to health insurance benefits and can receive medical help, remedies and medical aids at the expense of the ÖGK.

Refugees from Ukraine are exempt from paying prescription fees.
In the course of the police registration, the recorded data is forwarded to the ÖGK and an insurance number is automatically assigned.

You will not receive an e-card, but the refugees will personally receive a replacement e-card from the ÖGK (address below).

As long as you do not yet have an insurance number or an e-card replacement document, you will receive medical care upon presentation of your Ukrainian passport.
